Dr. Cortney Nguyen was born in California but moved and grew up in Bradenton, FL when she was at the age of 3. She earned her bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences in Tampa at University of South Florida, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine at LECOM School of Dental Medicine.
As the first medical doctorate in her family, Dr. Nguyen pursued the dental field on her own. What motivated her to continue her dental education were the multiple patient experiences she's had. During one of her dental volunteering events as a dental student, a patient told her "the things you're doing today may not be a big change to you, but you have changed my world". She hopes to provide multiple similar experiences to her future patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys experiencing different cultural foods and traveling to new places.
